Born in China, I moved to New Zealand in 2011. After obtaining my Marketing degree, I spent 5 years in residential property management and 1.5 years in construction project management. This is where I learned the ropes of real estate and honed my skills. It was a perfect preparation for my next move into residential sales.
In addition to providing an excellent hands-on understanding of the property cycle from construction right through to purchase and investment, I have also been recognised with awards both internally within Barfoot and Thompson and at national level for my excellence in the property management field. These often overlooked skills allow me to communicate confidently with buyers of various backgrounds and ensure they connect emotionally with properties, which in turn leads to a better sale price for my clients.
Aided by my marketing background, I took the step into the luxury fashion industry in the past, working with both international and local brands such as Mercedes-Benz, T Galleria by DFS, and H&M. This allowed me unrivalled access to an exclusive network of clientele within the luxury goods related industry. When it comes to luxury homes, working with a select group of high-end clients can help you get a premium price for your home in a shorter amount of time. Not only do these buyers have the means to pay premium prices, but they're also generally more serious about finding the right property and are willing to move quickly once they've found it. By tapping into this pool of qualified clients, you're likely to find a buyer who's willing to pay your asking price - or even slightly above it. And in today's competitive market, that can make all the difference.
For many people, the thought of working with luxury real estate agents conjures up images of old-fashioned agents who are long in the tooth and reminisce about "the good old days."
